Hi! I’m Mettu Saichandan, a mathematics enthusiast and passionate educator currently pursuing BTech at IIT Hyderabad. With a strong foundation in competitive math and Olympiad training, I aim to inspire and guide students to excel academically.
My Academic Journey
I laid the foundation for my academic and personal growth. Beyond excelling in academics, I actively participated in cultural events, sports, and leadership activities, honing my all-round development and teamwork skills
My passion for mathematics truly flourished, marking the beginning of my Olympiad journey. Excelling in math competitions like SOF IMO, AMTI, and IOQM, I laid strong foundations for problem-solving and analytical thinking, achieving remarkable results.
I dedicated myself entirely to cracking the JEE. Every moment was spent mastering concepts, pushing my limits, and refining my problem-solving skills. My hard work paid off when I cracked the prestigious INMO in my final attempt, a testament to my perseverance and focus.
Though my journey at NIT Jalandhar didn’t align with my dream of getting into IIT, it was a transformative period. I realized my potential and made the bold decision to risk everything and retake the JEE. Despite the uncertainty, I found my inner strength and determination.
My 7-year-long dream finally came true when I secured admission to IIT Hyderabad. It wasn’t an easy road; countless obstacles and struggles tested my resolve. But through perseverance, I made it—transforming my dream into reality. Today, I am more committed than ever to excel and make the most of this incredible opportunity.
